Who operates PrintNexus

PrintNexus operates this website from Florida, United States. This policy applies to the PrintNexus website, its 3D printing tools, calculators, generators, guides, and other pages.

PrintNexus does not currently offer user accounts, payments, newsletter subscriptions, comments, contact forms, or a user database.

Your files stay in your browser

Files you open in a PrintNexus tool are processed locally by code running in your browser. Your STL, 3MF, OBJ, STEP, SVG, DXF, Gcode, OpenSCAD, image, and other project files are not uploaded to PrintNexus servers. PrintNexus does not receive, store, inspect, log, or keep copies of those files.

Generated models and converted files are also created in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. The website hosting provider, Google Analytics, and advertising services do not receive the contents of files you select for a tool.

Browser memory is normally cleared when you close or reload a page. Some tools may use local browser storage temporarily to pass generated code, settings, or a result between PrintNexus pages. This data stays on your device and can be removed by clearing site data in your browser.

Information collected automatically

When you visit a website, your browser sends basic technical information needed to deliver the page. Depending on the service involved, this may include your IP address, requested page, date and time, referring page, browser type, device type, operating system, language, and approximate location.

PrintNexus uses this information to deliver the site, understand general usage, find errors, protect the site from abuse, and improve its tools and content. It is not used to identify the files you work with.

Google Analytics

PrintNexus uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics may collect page views, referral information, general interaction data, approximate location, and browser or device information. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to provide this service.

PrintNexus uses Analytics reports to understand which pages are useful and where the site can be improved. PrintNexus does not intentionally use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors or connect Analytics activity to the contents of a local file.

Google AdSense and advertising

PrintNexus may use Google AdSense to display advertising. When Google advertising services are used, Google may receive information such as your IP address, the page URL, and browser or device information.

If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to PrintNexus or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies allows Google and its partners to show personalized ads based on visits to PrintNexus and other sites.

Where consent is required, PrintNexus will permit personalized advertising only after the visitor consents. Visitors who do not consent may receive non-personalized or limited ads where those options are available.

You can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also review participating advertising opt-outs at YourAdChoices.

Cookies and browser storage

PrintNexus uses browser storage to remember your light or dark theme and to support local handoffs between certain tools. Analytics and advertising providers may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers for measurement, fraud prevention, ad delivery, and, when permitted, personalization.

You can block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking site storage may reset your theme or interrupt a local handoff between tools. Blocking Analytics or advertising cookies should not stop the core browser-based file tools from working.

Website hosting

PrintNexus uses a third-party hosting provider to deliver and protect the website. The provider may automatically process technical request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, browser details, and security or diagnostic data.

PrintNexus does not configure custom file logging and does not intentionally review or separately retain hosting request logs. The hosting provider handles service data under its own privacy policy. Files processed locally inside a PrintNexus tool are not part of these hosting requests.

Email communications

The PrintNexus contact page does not contain a form. Its email link opens your email application. If you choose to send a message, PrintNexus receives the email address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to include.

Email is used to respond to questions, privacy requests, corrections, and tool reports. Messages are kept until the request is resolved and then only for as long as reasonably necessary. PrintNexus email is provided through Microsoft, which handles email data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Do not email private, client-owned, unreleased, or sensitive model files unless you are comfortable sharing them. A screenshot, error message, or simplified sample is often enough.

How information may be shared

PrintNexus may share or allow service providers to process limited information in these cases:

  • Google provides Analytics and, if approved, AdSense advertising services.
  • A third-party hosting provider delivers and protects the website.
  • Microsoft provides the PrintNexus email service.
  • Information may be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect the site and its users.
  • Information may be transferred as part of a merger, sale, or transfer of the website, subject to this policy and applicable law.

PrintNexus does not sell personal information for money. Under some privacy laws, personalized advertising may be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising activity even when no money is exchanged. Use the consent choices provided where available and Google Ads Settings to control personalized advertising.

Data retention

PrintNexus does not retain files used in browser-based tools because those files are never received. Local browser data remains on your device until a tool removes it, the browser clears it, the browsing session ends, or you clear the site's storage.

Analytics, advertising, hosting, and email providers retain information according to their settings, operational needs, and privacy policies. PrintNexus keeps information it controls only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose described in this policy, security, legal obligations, or resolving a request.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Send a privacy request to printnexus@hotmail.com. PrintNexus may need enough information to understand and verify the request. Because PrintNexus does not have accounts and does not receive local tool files, it may not have information that can be connected to a particular visitor.

Children's privacy

PrintNexus is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. PrintNexus does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information by email, contact PrintNexus so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

Security

PrintNexus uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the website and the limited information it handles. No internet service or email system can guarantee absolute security. Keeping file processing inside the browser reduces the amount of model and project data exposed to online services.

External links

PrintNexus links to slicers, model libraries, manufacturers, documentation, and other third-party websites. Their privacy practices are controlled by their own policies. Review those policies before providing information to an external site.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when PrintNexus changes its tools, analytics, advertising, hosting, or privacy practices. Material changes will be reflected by the last-updated date on this page.
